EXPANDED food truck offerings are set to be available soon across the Kingston foreshore.
Kingston Council is seeking expressions of interest for mobile vendors across seven foreshore locations, and Bicentennial Park. Kingston mayor Georgina Oxley said “Kingston’s foreshore and parks are some of the most loved spaces in our city, and we’re proud to continue investing in ways to make them even better.”
“This is about creating great experiences for our community, whether that’s grabbing a coffee by the beach, enjoying an ice cream with the family, or discovering something new while spending time outdoors,” Cr Oxley said “We know small and mobile businesses play an important role in our local economy, and this is a fantastic chance to grow a business in some of Kingston’s busiest and most scenic locations.
“By activating these spaces, we’re supporting local enterprise while making our foreshore and parks even more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.”
In a statement Kingston Council said it is “seeking a diverse mix of vendors, including food and beverage operators and those offering beach and wellness-related services suited to the coastal environment.” Kingston Council came under fire last year for refusing to extend an 11-month sublease for Seasoul Sauna at the Mordialloc Sailing Club (“Sauna shutdown sparks outrage”, The News 14/10/2025).
