MORE than 200 laptops have been donated to local students going through financial difficulty. The second-hand computers are reset to factory settings. THE Sandhurst Golf Club has raised more than $50,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital through three fundraising events this year.The club ran a “walking the north golf course” event first, followed by its regular Good Friday “bad pants golf day” and then an auction two weeks later. More than 200 golfers took part during the fundraising events. An 18-year-old teenager has died in hospital following a collision in Langwarrin last week. It is believed a Toyota Aurion was travelling west when it collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of Southgateway and Frankston Cranbourne Road, about 7.15pm on 2 May. The pedestrian, an 18-year-old from Langwarrin was taken to hospital where he died on 6 May. The driver of the Toyota, a 60-year-old man from Carrum Downs, was uninjured and stopped at the scene.
