VCE students state-wide received their ATAR results this week. The class of 2022 were given their results on the morning of 12 December. At Mentone Girls Grammar, more than 42 per cent of the cohort received ATARs of above 90. Vivian Zhang was named dux with a near-perfect score of 99.85. THE new school buildings at Yarrabah School in Edithvale have been officially opened. The new buildings were funded by the state government. It announced it would spend $20 million redeveloping the school in 2017. Yarrabah School is a special development school. Mordialloc MP Tim Richardson attended the opening. A PLAN to build a new synthetic hockey pitch at Kingston Heath Reserve looks set to proceed. Kingston Council has approved a concept plan for Kingston Heath Reserve in Cheltenham. The first stage of the plan would see a new synthetic hockey pitch constructed, and the relocation of the cricket oval and nets.
