In addition to the shopping stalls, the event will feature live music, food trucks, and other entertainment. Entry is free. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Frankston on 9 October. Investigators have been told the male occupant of a property on Wettenhall Road returned home about 11.30am to find his house being burgled. The victim confronted the male offender who then ran to a vehicle and attempted to leave the scene. The offender sped around the victim’s car, where his 9-year-old daughter was waiting inside, hitting the victim with the car and pushing him into his garden. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after power tools were stolen during a burglary in Carrum Downs yesterday. Police have been told an unknown man attended a house on Dion Drive and broke into a rear shed about 1pm. Once inside the shed, the thief stole a number of power tools worth $1000. THE state opposition will spend $2 million on improvements at Le Page Park if it wins next month’s election. A new pavilion at the Cheltenham sports ground opened this year. The facility, for the Cheltenham Panthers Junior Football Club and Le Page Park Panthers Cricket Club, cost the state government $125,000 and Kingston Council $500,000. The state opposition says it will spend the money on another new pavilion for Le Page Tennis Club and other community groups. THREE local early learning centres have exceeded the National Quality Standards in a recent assessment. Parkdale, Carrum, and Edithvale Family and Children’s Centres surpassed the NQS benchmarks.
