A WISHLIST for the level crossing removal works in Mordialloc and Aspendale is being drafted by Kingston Council. The state government is building rail over road to replace the level crossings at McDonald Street in Mordialloc and Station Street in Aspendale. Moorabbin, Chelsea and Mordialloc Police with the assistance of Air Wing located a missing child from a beach in Chelsea on Tuesday, 7 November. The 7-year-old Glen Waverley boy disappeared from his family’s tent and police were alerted about 12.30pm. A joint search involving Air Wing, Water Police along with Lifesaving Victoria were called in, as there were concerns the boy may have gone into the water. Consultation is underway on Kingston Council’s draft “play your way strategy”. A SEAFORD man says that regular bowel cancer tests saved him from a cancer scare. Danny Neale has performed bowel cancer tests since turning 50. He received a positive result, which was revealed to be a polyp in his colon after further testing. If untreated, the polyp could have developed into deadly bowel cancer. A 15-YEAR-old girl from Frankston has been charged over a spate of alleged car thefts and burglaries. Police allege that the girl stole car keys and vehicles from fitness centres in Burwood, Narre Warren, Bentleigh East, Oakleigh South, Brighton, Clayton and Camberwell between 14 and 30 October. On 2 November, police confirmed they had charged a 15-year-old Frankston girl with three counts of burglary, one count of theft of motor-vehicle, and one count of commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
