Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal fire in Carrum Downs last night. Emergency services were called to a caravan park on Frankston-Dandenong Road following reports an onsite cabin was alight just after 9.30pm. Sadly a person, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene. A crime scene has been set up and the circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be determined. Frankston police have arrested a man and woman following an alleged aggravated burglary in Seaford last night (7 September). It is alleged the pair attended the Duncan Ave address about 9.40pm, forced entry and assaulted a 39-year-old man with a weapon in the presence of his partner and children. The victim was treated for injuries sustained to his head and back during the alleged attack. Uniform police units responded swiftly and located a man and a woman in a vehicle nearby. THE deadline to register pools and spas with council has been extended. The state government has mandated all residents must register their pools and spas with their local council. A registration fee of $79 applies. The registration deadline has been extended until 1 November. THE works of local photographer Bronwyn Kidd will be displayed at the Frankston Arts Centre this month. Ms Kidd works with fashion and portraiture photography. Her newest exhibition #STYLE is a collection of two decades worth of photos, depicting rapidly changing styles since the turn of the millennium.
