A total of 618 staff members were sent into isolation after an outbreak of COVID-19 cases at the hospital this month. As of 29 August, 68 cases have been linked to the hospital. DUNKLEY MP Peta Murphy has called on the federal government to reinstate JobKeeper payments to early childhood educators. Ms Murphy says that the sector was removed from JobKeeper eligibility on 20 July, and that it must be reinstated “immediately”. “We have heard over and over again about educators being stood down or losing pay during the lockdown, including here in Dunkley. Dylan Briggs, aged 14, was tragically struck and killed as he rode home from school in March earlier this year. A MAN was taken to hospital in a critical condition after a horror car crash in Aspendale last week. The driver smashed his BMW sedan into a power pole on Station Street, Sunday 23 August.
