Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following an affray in Frankston this afternoon. Investigators have been told a woman attended a café on Beach Street just before 12.20pm and was spoken to by another woman at the café as she was not wearing a mask. The incident escalated into an assault and police were called. On police arrival the woman refused to state her name and assaulted a police officer. POLICE are looking for a man who allegedly damaged a Langwarrin fast food restaurant in June. The man allegedly damaged the glass doors to the Cranbourne-Frankston road restaurant using a traffic cone. LANGWARRIN will soon be home to a new fenced dog park. The park will be at 95 Southgateway, Langwarrin. The project has been coordinated by the Langwarrin Community Centre Nearly $17,000 in funding through the Dunkley Stronger Communities Program will help the park come to life. KINGSTON Council will funnel an extra $15,000 in ratepayer money towards their arts grant program this year. The funding boost means that $38,000 worth of arts grants will be available through council.
