Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman after an affray at a Café in Frankston yesterday, Tuesday 11 August 2020. It will be alleged a woman attended a café on Beach Street just before 12.20pm on 11 August and was spoken to by another woman at the café as she was not wearing a mask. The incident escalated and police were called. On police arrival the woman allegedly refused to state her name and assaulted a police officer. A THEFT from a Moorabbin shopping centre is being investigated by police. Police believe a man entered the Nepean Highway shop at around 4pm, 19 July and stole multiple items. Stolen items included a Tommy Hilfiger grey windcheater and navy pants, an Adidas navy top, superdry green pants, and a KSCY windcheater. COUNCIL has extended its parking infringement reimbursement scheme until May 2021. After an issue with their parking fine appeal process was uncovered, Kinsgton Council resolved to refund some fines to residents. People who had been fined and unsuccessfully appealed between the years 2006 and 2016 are eligible to apply for a refund. Council estimates that around 40 per cent of affected people have applied for refunds. A total of $855,000 has been paid back.
