A DRIVER was clocked speeding on Cranbourne Road in Frankston in the early hours of 18 June. At around 4.20am the 21-year-old Cranbourne man was pulled over by Somerville Highway Patrol officers. They allege he was driving at 143 kmph. The man’s car was impounded for a month, and he is set to appear at court at a later date. He faces the possibility of losing his licence for a year. A NEW mother has paid tribute to staff at Peninsula Health for helping her through a complicated pregnancy. Grace Buffinton’s 20 week scan showed that her unborn child’s brain was not developing properly. “They discovered part of his brain was missing,” she said. “It was very similar circumstances to the pregnancy of my daughter five years earlier. PENINSULA Aquatic Recreation Centre reopened this week after closing during the coronavirus pandemic. The easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria allowed the pool to reopen after a three month closure. Although PARC has reopened there are still rules and restrictions in place to stop the spread of coronavirus. The 50 metre pool hall will open for swimming, but will be limited to a maximum of 20 people. The warm water pool area and gym floor will also reopen, with 20 people allowed in each. Group exercise classes will resume with a limit of 10 people. Swimming lessons remain on hold.…

A MAN who allegedly masturbated inside a Cheltenham shop is wanted by police. Police have been told the man entered the Nepean Highway retail shop at around 11am, 8 May. He walked down the aisle and allegedly started masturbating before being asked to leave. He left the shop and headed towards Garfield Street. An image of a man police wish to speak to had been released. He is approximately 170cm tall, with a medium build and grey hair. A LEARNER driver was caught on the road without an accompanying driver last week. The 18-year-old man was pulled over by Moorabbin Highway Patrol on the Dingley Bypass in Heatherton after being caught driving 15 kmph over the speed limit.
