Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stalking incident which happened earlier this morning in Frankston North. The incident occurred on Forest Drive when a 17-year-old Frankston girl was approached by a man just before 8.30am. The victim told investigators that a man pulled up in a white van and allegedly asked her if she wanted a lift. The victim declined his invitation and continued walking on her way to school. NO-BOATING zones are set to be expanded in areas across Port Phillip Bay. The zones will be expanded at Carrum, Chelsea, Aspendale, Hampton, and Elwood. Works in Carrum will increase the area to align with Progress Avenue, and expand the area around Patterson River. MORDI Fest is set to return this weekend, bringing live music, food, and amusement rides to Mordialloc. A lineup including Youth Group, Dragon, Geoff Achison, Hobsons Bay Coast Guard, Jaguar Jonze, Press Club, and Feelds is set to take the stage during the two day festival. A MAN who stole cash from a Cheltenham store is wanted by police. The offender used a fire hydrant to smash the front door of the shop on Centre Dandenong Road, around 12am 23 January. He stole money and a vacuum cleaner. Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the incident. They have released images of a man (above) they believe can help with their enquiries. A woman has died in hospital following a two-car collision in Aspendale Gardens on Friday. It is believed a grey Holden Commodore sedan was making a right-hand turn from Wells Road onto Gilchrist Way when it collided with a green Mitsubishi sedan travelling north on Wells Road just after 12pm on 21 February. A 95-year-old Chelsea woman, who was a passenger in the Mitsubishi, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died on 25 February.
