THE Big Picture Fest will return to Frankston for the second consecutive year, bringing along musicians, street artists, and a range of food trucks. The event will kick off with a “Block Party” on 22 March at Stiebel Place and Gallery Lane. Multi instrumentalist Will Cuming, known as LANKS, set to kick things off with a performance. A roving performance from the Illuminated Angels, presented by Born is a Taxi is also set to entertain visitors. Live street art painting will then be on display for the entire weekend, with free daily walking tours. Detectives from the Echo Taskforce are today releasing CCTV footage as part of their ongoing investigation into a shooting and car fire in Frankston last year. A number of shots were fired into a residential property on Warrain Street shortly before 5am on 31 May, 2018. Two adults and a baby were inside the house at the time of the incident, however no one was injured. Investigators from Kingston Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a burglar following a break-in at a home in Carrum on Friday 31 January. Police believe a man has walked into the front yard of the Church Road home about 12.45pm . The offender knocked at the front door before walking to the side of the house and breaking a window to gain entry. The man rummaged through drawers before leaving. Police allege that a number of shots were fired in St Kilda at around 1am, and then a “number”of shots were also allegedly fired into a garage on Corrigan Street, Cheltenham at 10.30am.
