TRANSIT detectives are investigating a sexual assault at Carrum Downs on 22 November. A 16-year-old girl was waiting at a bus stop on Frankston-Dandenong Rd about 3pm when she was approached by an unknown man. He struck up a conversation with her before sexually assaulting her while she sat at the bus stop. He then became verbally aggressive towards her before getting into his car and driving away. A FRANKSTON man who was captured on CCTV wearing a T-shirt saying “Everything happens for a reason but the reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions” was arrested last week and charged with robbery. A 55-year-old was charged at his home with nine robberies at jewellery stores in Frankston, Langwarrin, Mt Eliza, Keysborough, Cranbourne, Springvale and Rowville, as well as a robbery at a liquor store in Langwarrin. AN Edithvale man was hit over the head with a baseball bat or iron bar as he walked home from the station, 1.45am, Sunday 28 January. The man, 33, was wearing a pair of Moshi headphones and carrying a bag over his shoulder containing an iPad. A 1997 green Nissan Pulsar hatch pulled up across the road and two men got out, one demanding he hand over his phone and wallet.
