A BMW X5 sporting stolen number plates was rammed into two police cars in a McDonald’s car park at Frankston North, early Friday morning, 10 November. The force of the impact knocked one of the cars into a policeman standing beside it. He was not injured in incident at 12.30am. POLICE breath-tested about 14,000 drivers in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Shire council areas over the Melbourne Cup long weekend with 28 being found to be either drink-or-drug driving.
