The teenagers were passing the McCormicks Rd shops when the man – in a black Subaru with four others inside – jumped out and demanded the phone. DETECTIVES searched a Frankston house, Thursday 14 July, and found a fully functioning clandestine drug laboratory – as well as a .22 rifle. Detective Sergeant Paul Busuttil, of the Frankston Crime Investigation Unit, said police found sufficient quantities of methyl amphetamines to make “substantial amounts” of the drug ice. Two men were arrested. A 60-year-old, of Frankston, faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last week charged with possessing precursor chemicals, possessing materials to manufacture drugs, possessing and trafficking drugs and possessing an unregistered firearm. TWO men who smashed their way into a Frankston restaurant are being sought by police. The men drove into the car park outside the Nepean Hwy business, 7.30am, Thursday 14 July, in a silver Holden Astra.
