HOMICIDE Squad detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a Hastings man in Frankston on Friday 11 December (‘Intruder killed chasing woman’, The Times 14/12/15). Police were told a woman disturbed a burglar at her house in Cassia Grove, Frankston, about 1.30pm. It is alleged the burglar assaulted the woman and, when her neighbour came to her aid, there was an altercation. The 44-year-old man died at the scene.
