Aleesha Kete left her home address in Muruwa Street on 27 February and said she was going to the city to visit friends. The 13-year-old told her family she would return on Saturday night but has not been seen since. Police have concerns for her welfare due to her age. Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Team detectives are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted at a bayside shopping centre last month. The incident happened in a lift at the Beach Street shopping centre on 8 February around 5.15pm. The victim, a 42-year-old woman who is employed as a cleaner at the centre, was in the process of cleaning the lift when two men entered on level one. Officers from Cheltenham are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Edithvale last night. Police received a number of reports of a Toyota Camry being driven erratically in the vicinity of the Aspendale Railway Station around 11pm. Members patrolled the area and found the car in Lochiel Drive, Edithvale a short time later. Investigators believe that the car had been involved in a number of crashes before they located it and the driver. THIS year’s Frankston Citizen of the Year is an expert on the city’s history. Glenda Viner is one of three award winners honoured at an Australia Day citizenship ceremony at Frankston Arts Centre. The others are Senior Citizen of the Year Marion Beattie and Young Citizen of the Year Hayley Russell. Detectives from the Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are on the hunt for a man who exposed himself to an elderly woman in Carrum Downs last year. Investigators have been told the 65-year-old woman was walking south on Lyrebird Drive when she was approached by a man who appeared to be fiddling with his fly around 7.15am on 13 November.
