FRANKSTON Council is on board with state government plans to redevelop the Frankston train station precinct but is also pushing for more money to be invested in the project, and the electrification of the rail line to Baxter. A photograph of coins left on the dashboard of a car at Young St East car park has been widely circulated on social media sites such as Facebook this month amid calls for Frankston Council to drop a parking fine.
