POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries related to an attempted robbery

TRANSIT detectives are investigating the attempted robbery of items belonging to a 55-year-old man who boarded a Frankston-bound train at Richmond station, 1.18am, 4 August last year.

They have released this image of a man, pictured, seen getting off the train at Kananook station who may be able to assist with their inquiries. He was last seen walking towards the Frankston CBD.
