MAJOR Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses to help with their investigation into a fatal collision in Mentone, 7 May.
Investigators were told that an 80-year-old Cheltenham woman was crossing Warrigal Road at around 10.30 am when she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken to hospital but later died.
A 53-year-old Cheltenham woman was interviewed by police and released without charge.
