A FUNDRAISER set up to help the family of a man killed in a tragic accident at Kingston Central Plaza last week has raised over $75,000.

Father of two Scott Brownridge was killed on 29 July after being struck by a car outside of the Moorabbin shopping centre. Police believe he was standing near the rear of his car at around 1pm when he was struck.

The driver of the car, an 83-year-old Cheltenham man, assisted police with enquiries. His 76-year-old female passenger was injured.

A fundraising page set up on Facebook raised over $75,000 for the family of the deceased man.
