A driver was found over the limit in Carrum Downs last night after he crashed into the back of a marked police brawler van.
Transit Safety Division officers were stopped at a red-light on an Eastlink off ramp, at Thompsons Road, when they were nudged from behind about 8.15pm.
The 46-year-old driver who said he was distracted by the bluetooth in the car, was breath tested and returned a positive result.
A further evidentiary breath test by the Berwick man back at a local police station furnished a reading of 0.139.
The man’s licence was immediately cancelled and disqualified for a period of 13 months.
