A MAN has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a Frankston home armed with a firearm.

At around 10.40pm on 1 April, offenders allegedly forced their way into a Nursery Avenue home. Police say that they were “armed with firearms and other weapons and made demands for property”.

Last week on 19 May, police made one arrest in relation to the incident. A 21-year-old Cranbourne East man was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion with firearm, theft of motor vehicle, possession of drugs, and assaults.

The arrest came after a search warrant was executed at a Cranbourne East home.

The alleged offender appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates court.
