Police investigate Mordialloc homicide

Police have arrested a man following a fatal shooting in Mordialloc on Thursday evening.

Emergency Services were called to an address in McDonald Street about 9.10pm after reports of gunshots.

On arrival police found two people with critical injuries.

They were treated at the scene but unfortunately died.

Officers searched the area and a man was taken into custody a short time later.

He is currently assisting police with their enquires and detectives from the Homicide Squad are currently on scene.

Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
