Investigators have been told the fire broke out at a shop on Thompson Road around 11.35pm.
It’s believed two people have driven to the scene, exited the vehicle and smashed the front door of the shop before pouring an accelerant into the building and igniting it.
The offenders then left the scene in the vehicle.
Detectives have released images and CCTV of a silver 4WD utility with a canopy and two people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
One person may have sustained injuries during the blaze.
