THREE people are dead after a car fire on the Western Port Highway last week.

Emergency services attended the scene in Cranbourne West just before 8pm on 24 March. They put out the fire and found three bodies inside the car.

As of 25 March, the three people have not been formally identified. In a statement police said that they are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances of the fire, but they are “not looking for anyone else at this time”.
