Two people have been arrested after police seized thousands of dollars’ worth of illicit drugs in Melbourne’s south-east.

Officers from the Southern Metropolitan Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at an address in Langwarrin this morning.

Police allegedly seized a commercial quantity of methyl-amphetamine with an estimated street value of $15,000 as well as a quantity of 1,4 butanediol, and ecstasy.

A 42-year-old Langwarrin man has been charged with drug trafficking and possessing a drug of dependence, as well as possessing proceeds of crime.

It is expected he will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.

A 37-year-old Mount Eliza woman has been charged in relation to drug possession.

She was bailed to appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

Anyone with information about criminal activity is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at crimestoppersvic.com.au
