Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged a man after a police car was allegedly rammed and police officer injured in Seaford last week. Officers attempted to intercept an allegedly stolen car at a property on Seaford Road about 12pm on Friday, 4 October. It is alleged the male driver reversed into the police vehicle and rammed into it several times. He then got out of the vehicle while it was still moving and fled on foot.
