A GROUP of community members has been formed to help shape the future of the proposed swimming centre in Mordialloc. Kingston Council is planning to build the new pool at a site by Jack Grut Reserve. The new pool will replace the closed Don Tatnell Leisure Centre in Parkdale. Last week council confirmed that a 25 person “community reference group” has been appointed to help bring the project to life. CONTRACTS to build elevated rail at Parkdale have been signed. Sky rail will be built to replace the level crossings at Warrigal Road in Mentone and Parkers Road in Parkdale. Last week the Level Crossing Removal Project confirmed that a contract worth $450 million to deliver the project had been signed. A new Parkdale Station will be built as part of the project. The state government has announced it intends to remove all level crossings on the Frankston line by 2029. The Parkdale level crossings are expected to be gone by 2025. CHRISTOPHER Culshaw is wanted by police over a burglary in Frankston. The burglary allegedly occurred on 11 October. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of 32-year-old Culshaw over the crime. Culshaw has a medium build and short, dark hair. An image of him has been released. A CAR which struck a pedestrian in Dandenong last month was found abandoned in Frankston North. At around 11.30pm on 16 October, a man was hit by a white Toyota Corolla on Foster Street. The victim, a 41-year-old man, was taken to hospital with minor head injuries. The driver fled the scene in the car. The Toyota Corolla, which police say was stolen, was found abandoned on Pine Street in Frankston North shortly afterwards. The driver has not been caught. A MAN who allegedly committed a sex act on a bus in front of a teenage girl is wanted by police. The alleged incident took place on a bus travelling between Greenborough and Frankston, 9.35am on 22 September. Both the victim and offender boarded the bus at Greenborough Station, and the incident took place around Lower Plenty. Police say the man sat near the 17-year-old girl and performed a “lewd act”.
