A 21-year-old driver has been arrested after he struck three police cars in Frankston early Sunday morning. Officers were notified by a traffic camera operator that a vehicle was doing burnouts on Frankston-Dandenong Road, near the Peninsula Link south-bound on-ramp, about 3.40am. When police arrived, the P-plater allegedly reversed into a police vehicle before losing control and hitting another two police cars. The Cranbourne West man was arrested and underwent a breath-test where he alleged returned a reading of .115. A small amount of cocaine was also located in the man’s badly damaged vehicle. Police have been told an 87-year-old woman was on her mobility scooter on Southgateway, near a reserve which intersects with Hornsby Drive, when she was approached by six to eight young boys on Wednesday, 29 June about 10.30am.
