THE playground at Peter Scullin Reserve in Mordialloc has closed. Council has shut the playground down indefinitely. Salty air has been blamed for ongoing corrosion, which has caused structural decline. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a carjacking in Carrum Downs earlier this month. A 45-year-old man entered the car park of Carrum Downs Shopping Centre on Hall Road about 9.30pm on Saturday, 6 November. As he approached his car, he noticed two men standing near his Nissan Pulsar. One of the men produced a knife and demanded the victim hand over his keys. The Malvern East man gave the keys to the offenders, who drove off in his car. A FRANKSTON woman who refused an evidentiary breath test is expected to be charged. Police say they pulled over a red Mazda sedan on Skye Road when they saw it without headlights on at around 11pm on 24 November. The 39-year-old Skye woman underwent a roadside breath test, but police say she would not accompany them back to the station for an evidentiary breath test.
