MORE CCTV cameras have been installed around Frankston in a bid to increase community safety. It is estimated that the number of CCTV cameras in the Frankston local government area has increased by 20 per cent in the last two years. POLICE are investigating a burglary which took place in Moorabbin last month. At around 7.55am on 26 September, a man allegedly smashed a front glass door to a business on Roberna Street. He had visited the shops earlier that day. The man allegedly stole audio equipment, including a guitar foot pedal. MOORABBIN Highway Patrol ran an operation targeting illegal monkey bike riders last week. Police say that there has been a rise in people using bicycles with petrol engines in recent months. “Members of the public who use these vehicles (and their parents), need to be aware of the potential dangers and consequences of riding a bicycle that was not designed to have a motor.
