KINGSTON Council is taking a leading role to tackle domestic and family violence in the community. Kingston mayor Cr David Eden said council will launch a family violence working group and roll out a practical action plan to support victims and reduce family violence in our community. “Councils are in a unique position to address this very serious issue at the local level and Kingston Council is committed to taking positive action,” Cr Eden said. A KINGSTON legend is celebrating 50 years of volunteering for Meals on Wheels this year.
