A MAN riding a mobility scooter died after being struck by a car in Langwarrin, Wednesday night (1 November). Emergency services were called to McClelland Drive after the incident which involved a Toyota about 9.05pm. The 47-year-old Langwarrin man died at the scene. A 62-year-old Sandhurst man driving the car stopped to help. Sergeant Mark Sims, of Somerville Highway Patrol, said the deceased man was a resident of the nearby Log Cabin Park.
