CROSSING supervisors have been subject to verbal abuse while working on Kingston roads. Kingston Council has launched a new road safety campaign. The “Save Lives, Not Time” campaign is encouraging drivers to slow down and show more respect on the roads. A DRIVER escaped serious injuries after crashing their car into a Mordialloc pizza shop on 24 January. The car crashed into the Mordialloc Pizza and Pasta shop on Main Street just after 11.30am. Nobody was seriously hurt in the crash. The crash scene was attended by Fire Rescue Victoria, Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, and Chelsea SES. FRANKSTON Police are trying to reunite a lost toolbag with its owner. The tools (pictured above) were handed into the police station after they were discovered alongside a Frankston road on 11 January. Inside the bag was a Matt Gas Gunkit, a Makita toolbelt, a shoulder bag with hand tools, a Bulldog rachet set, Dewalt drill extensions, an orange backpack with harness rope, and two orange edge harness belts. A RELIGIOUS temple in Carrum Downs was vandalised earlier this month. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe the temple was vandalised with graffiti sometime overnight between 15 January and 16 January.
