FRANKSTON Skate Park will host an Australian Skate Park League competition next month. The league will host a Metro series event at the skate park. Skaters young and old will compete, with prizes on offer. Police received a report of an erratic driver on Thompsons Road in Carrum Downs during the early hours of 9 January. TWO people have faced court over the alleged theft of a car with a toddler inside in Chelsea. The car was allegedly taken from a grocery store on Nepean Highway at around 4pm on 8 January. Police say the car had been left running with a two-year-old boy inside while the car’s owner went into the shop. YOUNG parents who have dropped out of high school are finishing their educations thanks to a Chisholm Institute program. The Young Parents Program runs three times a week at Chisholm’s Frankston campus. The YPP is tailored to the needs of young parents who have not completed high school, Chisholm Institute says.
