DIVISION ONE DROMANA’S impressive start to life in the first division of the MPNFL has come to an end, after they were defeated by Frankston YCW on Saturday. DIVISION TWO BRENDAN Fevola ran out for his MPNFL debut on Saturday in front of a big home crowd at Hastings. The Blues took on Devon Meadows, who were looking to spoil the occasion. EIGHTEEN months on from their last annual hard rubbish collection, Frankston Council have confirmed the dates for their next collection. The collection service will run from late April and continue through until June. The service has grown since then, but this year they’ve basically decided to stop all the funding. This has suddenly become a $35,000 expense. They’ve told us after this year we’ll get nothing,” he said. “ANZAC Day is a national day…
KINGSTON Council has fired a warning shot to developers and is preparing a campaign to let residents know where to turn to if they spot red flags in poorly built homes. The mayor Georgina Oxley said that council officers are currently preparing a report that will look into improving protections for occupants of “shoddy” developments. “For most people their home is their biggest asset and their livelihood, it’s important that we’re able to support families and home owners in protecting their homes. We want developments to comply with the relevant standards. Anything short of this is simply unacceptable,” she said.…
