Truck Accident Langwarrin. A garbage truck hit a young girl thought to be 17 - 19 years old. I was told she was crossing with a green light for pedestrians and the truck was turning out of Long Street onto Frankston Cranbourne Rd. I was told she waved at the truck to stop but was hit by the truck and the truck ran over her hip area. She tried to sit up but collapsed. She was taken to Lloyd Park and airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital. Photo: Patient being transferred to helicopter at Lloyd Park.
