Since moving, Frankston has become the subject of her work. THE monthly twilight sunset market has returned to Frankston. After a successful trial, the event will run each month from now until April. As well as the stalls, the event featured free live entertainment. In addition to the twilight market, more events are set to come to Frankston throughout the summer and beyond. Police are investigating a series of thefts from liquor shops in Melbourne’s southern and eastern suburbs. Investigators have been told various bottles of alcohol were stolen from liquor shops in Mulgrave, Burwood, Berwick, Lyndhurst, Forest Hill, Cheltenham, Malvern, Malvern East, Chadstone, Parkdale, and Karingal between September 2022 and October 2022. Items stolen appear to be high end spirits, usually whiskeys, with an estimated total value of $18,000. Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries. THE new Parkdale Station precinct will contain original elements of the old station building. The state government will construct a new Parkdale Station when it builds sky rail to replace the level crossings at Warrigal Road and Parkers Road. Concerned community members and Kingston Council have been pushing for the original station building to be preserved in some way. THE state opposition says it will spend $10 million dredging Mordialloc Creek if it wins next month’s election.
