Legislation passed by state Parliament on 1 November prohibits the production, sale, supply or advertising of drugs that have psychoactive effects. Heavy penalties apply. A BMW X5 sporting stolen number plates was rammed into two police cars in a McDonald’s car park at Frankston North, early Friday morning, 10 November. The force of the impact knocked one of the cars into a policeman standing beside it. He was not injured in incident at 12.30am.
