IN 2016 the Frankston Dolphins looked dead and buried after going into administration and being booted from the VFL. Six years on, the club is completely debt free and posting healthy surpluses. A MAN has been arrested and charged with trafficking a drug of dependence after police raided a Mordialloc home last week. In the early hours of 18 February, police raided the Mordialloc house. They allege that they seized around 30 grams of methylamphetamine with a value of more than $25000, about 5 grams of ketamine, anabolic steroids, a loaded handgun, firearm parts, ammunition, and $26,000 in cash. CRICKET MPCA WOMENS A BRILLIANT century from Kylie Walters helped Langwarrin seal a big win on Sunday. Walters has been excellent for Langwarrin this season, with a knock of 104 against Rye last weekend her best. She had scored half centuries in her previous two innings, and now has a century to her name as reward for her efforts. A SCULPTURE memorialising Frankston student Natalie Russell has found a home on the track she was taken from. Natalie Russell was murdered in 1993 after being taken while walking home from school. The track she was taken on has since received safety upgrades, and is now named Nat’s Track. Last week, Ms Russell’s parents Brian and Carmel helped unveil a sculpture which has been installed on the track in their daughter’s memory. THE owner of a puppy killed by another dog on Chelsea Beach is calling on people to be more cautious with their pets. Ms Curry says she was walking her young puppy along Chelsea Beach when it was attacked by another dog. The puppy was sadly killed.
