A 25-year-old Lancefield man and a 24-year-old Seaford woman have been fined for breaching COVID restrictions, 7 September. The pair were found in Arthurs Seat, by Somerville Highway Patrol police members, watching the sunset from their vehicle. On investigation police say they found the vehicle to have cancelled registration and incorrect number plates affixed. The male driver was also found to be unlicensed. The vehicle has been impounded for 30 days and the driver summonsed to appear in court for the related charges. A 65-YEAR-old woman and a 44-year-old man have been arrested following an alleged aggravated burglary in Seaford on Monday night, 7 September. The pair allegedly forced entry into a Duncan Ave address and assaulted a 39-year-old man with a weapon, in the presence of his partner and children. The victim was treated for injuries sustained to the head and back. Responding police located the pair in a nearby vehicle. They were arrested without incident. A MAN who was clocked driving at around 200 kmph has been caught by police in Carrum Downs. In the early hours of 11 September, a Ford Focus XR turbo sped past a dog squad unit positioned on the Eastern Freeway. The car drove off the freeway at Frankston Road before leading police on a pursuit through Springvale, Noble Park, Glen Waverley, Ringwood, Monash, Mulgrave, and Dandenong.
